Broadway Triple Threat | Monologue

Broadway Triple Threat Class
with Broadway’s Monette McKay
7 Sessions focusing on acting, singing and dance

We are thrilled to announce Broadway star Monette McKay (Broadway’s Spiderman, Mamma Mia, Memphis) will be teaching this amazing class. Monette has been part of the Broadway Workshop team for the past few years and we could not be more excited to have her teaching this class.

This class will allow students to take the next step in building acting, singing and dance technique. We will focus on how to better approach material, sharpen audition & performance skills, understand direction and adjustments, make strong choices, relax and, most of all, have confidence. This class is designed to help unlock imagination and overcome inhibitions. Class will culminate in a small performance for parents and friends that will feature scenes where students will work with a partner and a full cast production number. ALL LEVELS ARE WELCOMED.

Monologue Workshop — NOW ON SUNDAYS!
6 Sessions Focusing on Monologue selection and Performance

This class was designed to help students who are auditioning for College Programs or Performing Arts High Schools. A Broadway Workshop guest teacher will work with students on how to select the right monologue and how to bring it to life. Each student will work in a small group setting and have the opportunity each week to build a strong monologue audition. Students will share in the process of self-discovery and personal growth as they bring their creative self to their material.

Over 6 sessions we will help students explore what makes them unique and how to apply that to their monologues. This is the perfect class for students who will be auditioning for college or high school programs or students who want to work more in depth on acting. This class will focus on contemporary monologues only.
