We are so thrilled to welcome back Broadway Star and TONY Nominee LAURA OSNES as our special guest for our 2020 Broadway Day. This workshop day will also include an improv workshop with KYLE SELIG (Mean Girls) and a dance master class with TOMMY BRACCO (Newsies, Big Brother).

THIS WORKSHOP IS SOLD OUT – Join the waiting list for the most updated info on available spaces.

Broadway Day will take place on MONDAY, January 20, 2020 (MLK DAY) and is open to students ages 11-18.

Students will begin their day with an improv workshop lead by Broadway’s Kyle Selig (Mean Girls, Book of Mormon) and then move on to a master class with Broadway’s Laura Osnes (Cinderella, Bandstand). Finally students will participate in a dance workshop with Broadway’s Tommy Bracco (Newsies, Pretty Woman, Big Brother).

After multiple sold out workshops with us, we are so excited to have this Broadway superstar Laura Osnes, back to lead this special workshop!  Most recently, Laura Osnes created the lead role of Julia in Bandstand on Broadway. Laura made her Broadway debut as Sandy in Grease, after appearing on the reality TV show You’re The One That I Want!, she quickly became a Broadway favorite in her own right. On Broadway, Osnes played Nellie Forbush in South Pacific, Hope Harcourt in Anything Goes, and received Tony Award nominations for her performances as the title characters in Bonnie and Clyde and Cinderella. Laura has toured the world in concerts and as part of The Broadway Princess Party!

Ms. Osnes will work with each student on audition technique and song interpretation in this special one day master class. We will focus on giving actors the opportunity to bring their audition and performance skills to the next level and how to better connect to their audition material. Students will break down their song material with one-on-one coaching in a class setting. Finally, students will have the opportunity to be part of a Q&A with Ms. Osnes and the Broadway Workshop team. Ms. Osnes’ past workshops have left parents and students raving!

Students will need two (2) musical theatre audition songs in the correct key for this workshop. We will only be focusing on ONE 16/32 bar musical cut in this class. We ask that students have a second song to be used as backup. Music should be in a binder and clearly marked for our musical director. Students should also have comfortable clothes to dance/move in. Students should bring a packed lunch to this workshop.
