We are thrilled to welcome back TONY AWARD Nominee, Broadway star of Hamilton, Book of Mormon and TV Star – RORY O’MALLEY for a special Musical Theatre Master Class for students ages 11-17!

RORY O’MALLEY  most recently  starred on Broadway as ‘King George III’ in the smash hit musical – HAMILTON. He is best known for starring in the original company of The Book Of Mormon on Broadway. He received both Tony and Drama Desk nominations for playing openly closeted Mormon Elder McKinley and performing the show stopper “Turn It Off”. Recently he was seen on stage in back to back Off-Broadway productions at Second Stage’s Nobody Loves You (Drama Desk nomination) and Little Miss Sunshine. His broadway debut was in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee and regionally, he created the role of Richie Cunningham in Garry Marshall’s Happy Days The Musical for Goodspeed Opera House and Paper Mill Playhouse. Rory also appeared in Paramount Pictures film, Dreamgirls singing “Cadillac Car” as lead singer of ‘Dave and the Sweethearts’.  On TV, Rory starred alongside Kelsey Grammer and Martin Lawrence in FX’s Partners and in episodes of Nurse Jackie, The Good Wife, Law and Order: SVU,  1600 Penn and Crazy Ex-Girlfriend.

Mr. O’Malley will  work with each student on audition technique and song interpretation in this special one day Master Class. We will focus on giving actors the opportunity to bring their audition and performance skills to the next level and how to better connect to their audition material. Students will break down their song material with one on one coaching in a class setting. His past workshops have left parent and students raving! Students will also have the opportunity to be part of a Q&A with Mr. O’Malley and the Broadway Workshop team.

Students will need 1 musical theatre or pop/rock audition song in the correct key for this workshop. We will only be focusing on ONE 16/32 bar musical cut in this class. If possible please have a second song to be used as back up. Songs should be 3- hole punched and in a binder. Accompanist will be provided. Students will not need a photo/resume for this class.

Class is limited to 15 students.
