We are thrilled to welcome WICKED, FIDDLER, FINDING NEVERLAND star JESSICA VOSK for her first workshop with us and welcome back HAMILTON Star – THAYNE JASPERSON on March 11th!

JESSICA VOSK made her Broadway debut in 2014 in Jason Robert Brown’s Bridges of Madison County. Following Bridges, Jessica went on to originate the role of Miss Basset in Finding Neverland, Jessica also played the role of Fruma Sarah in the 2015-2016 Broadway Revival of Fiddler on the Roof. Jessica joined the cast of  the Broadway National tour of Wicked playing Elphaba wowing audiences all over the US. Jessica can be heard on the cast recordings of Finding Neverland, Fiddler on the Roof, Merrily We Roll Along (Encores) and as Anita in the San Francisco Symphony’s live recording of the West Side Story score which was nominated for a Grammy. Jessica’s cabaret act has been selling out venues all over NYC.

Ms. Vosk will work with each student on audition technique and song interpretation in this special one day Master Class. We will focus on giving actors the opportunity to bring their audition and performance skills to the next level and how to better connect to their audition material. Students will break down their song material with one on one coaching in a class setting.  Students will have the opportunity to be part of a Q&A with Ms. Vosk and the Broadway Workshop team. Following the vocal section of this workshop, students will be part of a dance/movement workshop with Broadway’s THAYNE JASPERSON. Thayne is currently appearing on Broadway in Hamilton. His other Broadway credits include the original casts of Matilda and Newsies.

Students will need 2 musical theatre audition songs in the correct key for this workshop. We will only be focusing on ONE 16/32 bar musical cut in this class. We ask that students have a second song to be used as back up. Music should be in a binder and clearly marked for our musical director. Students should have clothes they feel comfortable moving/dancing in.
