Samantha Barks is slated to star is Elsa in the upcoming production of Frozen in London’s West End. She most recently starred on Broadway as Vivian in Pretty Woman but is perhaps best known for performing as Eponine in both the film, West End, and 25th Anniversary production of Cameron Mackintosh’s Les Miserables. She first rose to prominence in the UK in 2008 on the BBC casting show “I’d Do Anything” searching for a leading lady to play Nancy in a West End revival of Oliver! Although she finished third on the series finale, she gained great publicity from appearing on the show and was promptly cast as Sally Bowles in the UK tour of Cabaret. Samantha also performed as Velma in the Hollywood Bowl production of Chicago.
