Originally from San Jose, California, Sarah grew up studying theater, voice and piano. After moving to New York City, she graduated from the Manhattan School of Music with a BM in voice. During her time there, she was a recipient of the ASCAP Foundation’s Fran Morgenstern Davis Scholarship. Since then, she has been keeping busy performing in various new works in the city. New York Theater credits include: Atlantis! (Emerging Artists Theatre), Why Don’t I Have a Girlfriend? (Planet Connections Theatre Festivity), Jay Alan Zimmerman’s Incredibly Deaf Musical (The Marjorie S. Deane Little Theater), The Dome (Prospect Theater Company), Ada (The Ensemble Studio Theatre) and Makeover (New Dramatists). Regional productions include: Side by Side by Sondheim (Music for Montauk) and Bernstein’s Mass (The Virginia Arts Festival). She has also been seen in workshops and concerts with The 52nd Street Project, New York Theatre Barn & NYU’s Graduate Musical Theatre Writing Program.
