In this fast paced 3 hour workshop, students will work with Broadway Workshop’ director – Marc Tumminelli and Musical Director – Randy Redd before presenting their material for our panel of industry professional. Each student will prepare one 32 bar musical selection as well as commercial copy for our agents in attendance.
This workshop has been specifically designed for students who are not represented by agents or managers. The first half of this workshop will allow students to break down their song selections and commercial copy with the Broadway Workshop’s team. Our team will ensure each students songs are cut correctly and show them off in the best light and that all of their audition material is ready for our industry guests.
During the 2nd half of the class, students will participate in a workshop with our agents in attendance, where they will perform their song and commercial and receive feedback from our guests. Finally, parents will be invited to join the class for a Q&A with our students and industry panel
Each student will need: One or two song selections for this workshop. Sheet music must be in the correct key. We will be focusing on 32 bar cuts and 5 photo/resumes for our industry guests. Commerical copy will be sent to each student from Broadway Workshop.
Students who have been part of our industry workshops in the past are now appearing on Broadway, on TV and in major films.
