2:00 pm - 4:00 pm
We are thrilled to offer an all new online version for the 10th Annual Children’s Musical Theater Festival for students ages 8-12.
This is a by audition only program. Students cast in the Festival will have the opportunity to originate roles in a new virtual musical: THE SHOW MUST GO ON LINE. This program is only available for students ages 8-12.
THE SHOW MUST GO ON LINE was created in response to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, as a way for actors to work together as an ensemble to put on a show, while staying safe in their own homes. The Show Must Go On line is a first-of-its kind musical, where each actor will receive a 1-2 minute scene/song to rehearse and a video to record, and we will edit each video together to create the final product. Students will rehearse each day as a group, in preparation of filming their scene and song. Students will also have the opportunity to get moving with special guest dance workshops during the rehearsal process. A professional editor will edit together each cast member’s video to create the final product. This opportunity is open to 20 students.
Participation in this program will be offered to the students ages 8-12 who were scheduled to be part of the live CMTF program. If you are interested in submitting an audition video for possible available spaces please email: info@Broadwayworkshop.com for more info
