Annaleigh Ashford is a Tony-Award winning powerhouse having been featured on Broadway in both hit Musicals and Plays. Annaleigh was most recently seen on Broadway playing Dot/Marie opposite Jake Gyllenhaal in the recent revival of Sunday in the Park with George. She was the recipient of the Tony-Award for Best Featured Actress in a Play for her portrayal of Essie Carmichael in the classic farce, You Can’t Take it With You. Annaleigh originated the role of Lauren in the Tony-Award winning Kinky Boots with Music & Lyrics by Cyndi Lauper and can be heard on the Original Cast Recording. Miss Ashford will work with each student on audition technique and song interpretation in this special one day Master Class. We will focus on giving actors the opportunity to bring their audition and performance skills to the next level and how to better connect to their audition material. Students will break down their song material with one on one coaching in a class setting. Finally students will have the opportunity to be part of a Q&A with Miss Ashford and the Broadway Workshop team.
