Zoom Online Intensive
On the first day of the intensive, Film & Television actress JOY SUPRANO (Juilliard Graduate) will lead students in the fundamentals of on-camera work, and will coach each student individually on film/tv sides, that will be pre-assigned prior to the program.
On the second day of the intensive, students will spend the first portion reviewing on-camera fundamentals with Ms. Suprano, and for the last 90 minutes, three industry casting directors will join the Zoom. Students will present mock auditions for the casting directors as part of the virtual showcase experience
We will wrap up the intensive with a short Q&A about the film/TV industry.
This program is limited to only 10 students.
Joy Suprano is a graduate of the Juilliard School Drama Division, and is a working SAG/AFTRA/AEA actor who strives to inspire her students to achieve their full potential and accomplish their dreams. While working with everyone from Tony Danza to Josh Groban she has had starring and featured roles in television productions and movies for Netflix, NBC, CBS, FOX, Showtime, HBO and USA Network/s. She is recognized most for her work on Hightown, The Good Cop, Almost Family, Law & Order, The Blacklist, Ray Donovan, and FBI. Joy has been on the faculty of Broadway Workshop since 2012.
The three industry casting directors who will be present at the virtual showcase have worked on projects such as “Girls5eva” (Peacock), “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” (Amazon), “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt” (Netflix), “Odd Mom Out” (Bravo), “If Beale Street Could Talk”, Netflix’s “Dash and Lily”, “Set it Up”, “Eighth Grade”, “Bridge of Spies” and so many more.

Kristian Charbonier is part of the Telsey casting office. He is a graduate of Florida State University’s School of Theatre. Some of his notable Telsey Casting credits include: 13 THE MUSICAL (Netflix), TICK, TICK… BOOM! (Netflix), IN THE HEIGHTS (HBO Max), SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS (Broadway/Nickelodeon), RISE (NBC), and THE WIZ LIVE (NBC).
Anne Davison is a New York-based casting director and associate who works primarily in TV and film. Recent projects include the upcoming series “Girls5eva” (Peacock), “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” (Amazon), “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt” (Netflix), “Odd Mom Out” (Bravo), “If Beale Street Could Talk” (dir. Barry Jenkins), and independent films “Radium Girls”, “Anya”, and “A Woman, A Part”. She also works as a freelance dramaturg in theater and dance and has an MFA in Dramaturgy & Dramatic Criticism from Yale School of Drama.
Betsy Fippinger is a casting director/associate in New York City, working in film and television. As a casting associate and assistant she has worked on EIGHTH GRADE, SET IT UP, BRIDGE OF SPIES, Netflix’s “Dash and Lily”, and the pilot episode of Amazon’s “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” (for which she won an Artios Award). Prior to working in casting, she was the assistant to the Head of Drama Series at HBO and in the talent department of the William Morris Agency. She holds a BA in Film from Wesleyan University and an MA in Arts Administration from Indiana University.
