Seeking 5 to 6 dynamic interns ages 18+ to be a part of our 2022 summer season programs at Broadway Workshop in New York City.  Each day at Broadway Workshop is different from the day before and each program requires a different set of skills. Broadway Workshop brings in the top theatre artists to be part of our summer programs, past guest staff include; Laura Benanti, Jonathan Groff, Sierra Boggess, Erika Henningsen, Alex Brightman, Krystal Joy Brown, Kristina Alabado, Derek Klena, Christy Altomare, Caissie Levy, Lilli Copper, Clayborn Elder, Jason Gotay, Leslie Kritzer, Rob McClure, Lindsey Mendez, Jessie Mueller, Vasthy Mompoint and many others.

All interns involved with Broadway Workshop during the summer sessions will be working directly with students between the ages of 8 and 19. Interns should have a desire to work in education and a love for working with young performers. Interns should have a strong background in theatre. We hope to provide a fun and educational experience to our interns in a challenging fast-paced environment. 

All camps take place at Ripley Grier Studios, located at 305 West 38^th St. All interns should have local housing or easily be able to commute to New York City. Interns will receive a stipend and should be available for at least 3 of our 5 summer NYC programs.  

Description of Duties of an Intern:

Interns will be responsible for: daily check in/check out of all registered students, lunch set up/clean up, support of our teaching staff, taking notes in workshop for guest teachers, keeping group rehearsal staging notes, working with our studio space to help students get from class to class, studio master class set up, support of camp merchandise sales, end of day clean up, coordinating bathroom breaks for students, running various out of studio errands, assistant stage managing student showcase and working with Camp director with general student issues.

 In down time, students will work on general administration work (students lists, student books, student name tags, space requests, budgets, teacher confirmations for the following/current camp program).

Vocal Intensive (Session 1)

Junior Excel Intensive

Excel Teen Intensive (Session 1)
